Vintage-Sweet Lilac Flowers

Morning all,
I've been a pretty bad blogger of late.
My laptop seems to have a problem with blogger.
It takes forever to load a page then all I get is stupid pop ups, even though I use
a blocker, go figure...

anyway I'm here today to share a card with a matching box I made for a Holy Communion
It fits really nicely into the theme for this month at

I used a Mo Manning digi stamp....perfect for my card and she
also does a boy version too.
here's a shot of the card and box together

I have used Lace and flowers from Sweet Lilac on this one...
Just to let you know there are loads of new flowers just
landed in the store...
the winner from this challenge will bag themselves a hamper
of the most gorjuss flowers
have a great weekend

That Craft Place - Alter it

This time around at That Craft Place the challenge is
Alter It.

I love using my cameo to add vinyl to things so I knew
straight away what I wanted to share..

I have altered some plain slate coasters into these.

This is what they looked like to start with, nice but a bit plain

I picked out a couple of nice phrases from the Silhouette store,
measured the coasters and using my cameo I cut them to fit the coasters

Using transfer tape I added the vinyl to the coasters, I could have left them like that
but decided to get a lovely shine on them by painting over the top
of them with the brilliant All Round Medium from That Craft Place

I gave them 2 coats letting each coat dry for about 2 hours in between.
and once they are dry they are protected from the heat of the mugs and they have
a fabulous shine to them

Thank you for stopping by today and I do hope you enjoyed my little tutorial,
who knows I might do a few more now
have a great weekend

Easter/Spring at That Craft Place

Good morning, this week at That Craft Place the challenge is nice and simple, Easter or Spring if like me you don't make Easter cards, I decided to decorate some little jars I had at home (bought for Christmas and never used ) bet I'm not the only one who does that.....I used my cameo and scraps of vinyl to add Hoppy Easter, some bunnies and the names of all the little kiddies in our family to them. then just added some mini eggs.....
and I have to say you don't get very many in a bag this little lot took 3 bags and I had to add some cotton wool to raise them up so I could take some pics....I will buy more before I give them out...the largest one is a mason jar and I wrote a little message to my Granddaughter onto a little blackboard sticker that I got from Lisa at That Craft Place....thanks for stopping by today xxxx
